Flow the quiet union of action and awareness, where time becomes a single breath Mihály Csíkszentmihályi, the father of Flow Theory, dedicated his life to understanding what makes human existence deeply satisfying. Through decades of research, he identified flow as a universal and intrinsically motivating state of optimal experience. Flow is characterized by intense focus and total absorption in an activity — what Csíkszentmihályi described as a “merging of action and awareness.” In this state, individuals experience a strong sense of control, lose self-consciousness, and time seems to dissolve. Flow, in many ways, mirrors the intelligence of water—responsive, receptive, and remembering. Our body is a living body of water—alive with rhythms, currents, and tides; in our yoga, as we fully inhabit this oceanic landscape, movement, breath, and awareness merge in quiet union, giving rise to a graceful state of flow. |
Flow Classes
Flow is a breath-based style of yoga that emphasizes smooth transitions and dynamic sequences. As we move and breathe together, we emerge into a state of flow. We create shared rhythms and a sense of communal support. Practitioners are encouraged to move at their own pace, rest, and modify as needed.

RestorativeRestorative yoga is a gentle, nurturing practice that supports deep relaxation and well-being.
Postures are held with little to no effort. Sequences are designed to reduce stress and anxiety, regulate the nervous system, support healthy breathing mechanics, and promote overall balance. |
