 Integrative Bodywork

When structure and function are aligned, the body’s self-healing capacity unfolds. Skilled touch communicates with the tissues and the nervous system, supporting this natural process.
Picture
Integrative Bodywork is a gentle, hands-on, and restorative approach to addressing chronic or acute pain and neuromuscular imbalances. Sessions are performed on a Light Wave treatment table while the client remains comfortably clothed. This work supports the body’s natural capacity for regulation and repair, fostering resilience and deep relaxation.

This approach works less by "fixing" tissues and more by teaching the nervous system a new baseline of ease. It incorporate Therapeutic Yoga, Positional Therapy, the gentle soft-tissue support of Bowen Therapy, and the subtle energy awakening of Marma Chikitsa into a holistic treatment. By working directly with the intelligence of the fascia, we invite a reorganization of this living matrix and a sense of continuity with the deeper architecture; from this place of support and balance, a sense of regulation naturally arises.

Drawing from osteopathic methods such as Strain and Counterstrain, Muscle Energy Technique (MET), Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), Positional Release Therapy, and Myofascial Release, this work is both gentle and profoundly transformational. The body is gently reminded of its natural state of allostasis, allowing clients to experience immediate results, with subtle shifts continuing to unfold for several days after a treatment.

The client is guided into fully supported positional releases to ease tension and habitual holding patterns. Each posture is held for two to five minutes, allowing the body to completely relax and neuromuscular patterns to reset. This work promotes structural alignment, enhances mobility, and relieves musculoskeletal discomfort. Bowen  procedures help recalibrate the body’s muscular and nervous system patterns, while Marma therapy encourages the flow of subtle energy, supporting deep relaxation and overall well-being.

Benefits may include:
    •    Release of Muscular Tension and Fascial Restrictions
