Yoga is an art and a science. It is the state of union between two opposites. It is balance, relationship and knowing the Self.
Light and dark, inhale and exhale, effort and surrender, individual and universal consciousness. It is the process of uniting opposing forces in body and mind in order to realize our spiritual essence of being.
This process is the practice. To constantly impart the knowledge of the self.

Private instruction is a remarkably effective and efficient paradigm for learning yoga. The idea of a "yoga class" is relatively new. Traditionally Yoga was taught one on one or in small groups and tailored to the specific needs and proficiency of each student.
