Yoga is an art and a science. It is the state of union between two opposites. It is balance, relationship and knowing the Self. Light and dark, inhale and exhale, effort and surrender, individual and universal consciousness. Yoga is the process of uniting opposing forces in the mind, body and breath, in order to realize our spiritual essence of being. This process is the practice, to constantly impart the knowledge of the Self.
